Whenever Ronda has a first-time client, our policy is to send a "thank you" for their patronage and support. Often, we receive an e-mail back. This particular one, unedited but without the client's name sums up what we try to give in terms of service and quality; "Hi Rhonda, I love the haircut you created for me. My family likes it too. You are very talented and I appreciate the personal service you gave me".

Wall Street Journal....
"Oil hits $100.00 a barrel, stock market reeling...."
Of course it would be great to see gas at $1.00 a gallon, but that's life! So what does this have to do with my haircolor?
Well, actually quite a bit! As the economics of America require us to "tighten our belts", we also realize that employment becomes critical! For good or bad, looking as good as one can be is paramount in today's business environment. At Bliss, we have seen a spike in new clients that have told us consistently "I really need to look my very best", referring to their employment, etc. Of course we take this very serious and realize that our clients want superb customer service and a return-on-investment from their hard earned dollars. Accordingly, we strive to provide the one-on-one service that has, and continues to set us apart from the competition. We value our clients, plain and simple. Happy New Year!

Raleigh, NC....
The battle begins this fall!
Runway Wars. Nov.30.Vintage 21.117 S West St. Raleigh, NC
Bliss was delighted to have been chosen as one of nine hair and color salons in the Triangle by Z SPOTLIGHT to participate in "Runway Wars", a unique fashion and hair "war" pitting local designers and hair salons against each other in friendly competition to benefit various charities. However, due to client commitments, we had to decline but truly appreciated the offer from Z SPOTLIGHT and Rodney!

"Grey hair in the corporate workplace"....
If you have a chance, take a look at "USA TODAY", September 10, 2007 issue. Talks about grey hair, the pro's and con's of coloring, cost, etc. However, VERY interesting when overwhelmingly headhunters and recruiters agreed that for good or bad....grey hair on a woman is the kiss of death in the corporate world! Interesting "stuff"!

A bit more....
A recent article described "an uptick" in business and new clients to salons across the nation when the economy "goes South". Meaning that individuals value hair, color and looks even more so when the economy is down with the article referencing "concerns" to "look one's best" in a tight labor market! Another interesting read reinforcing the need or perception women feel about their looks and specifically hair!

A bit about Ronda....
